The Awarding Ceremony for the PGIS Research Grant 2024 was held on 9^th May 2025 at the Postgraduate Institute of Science (PGIS), University of Peradeniya. A total of 12 competitive research grants were awarded to support high-quality research across multiple disciplines. These grants, effective from 2nd May 2025, are aimed at strengthening postgraduate research and innovation, further enhancing the institute's contribution to national and global scientific advancement. The event was graced by Prof. Terrance Madujith, Vice Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya, who attended as the Chief Guest. The ceremony highlighted the importance of advancing research excellence and fostering a vibrant research culture at PGIS.
